Casas por Cristo
Casa por Cristo stands for "Houses Because of Christ." This is a great organization that targets underprivileged families and builds homes for selected households. Pastors in Mexico work with Casas por Cristo in selecting families through an application process sponsored through the church. Since 1993 over 1700 homes have been built. Though the number of homes is impressive, the number of changed lives on both sides of the border is even more impressive.
Jason Laffan is the missionary that Eastridge supports and communicates with when planning mission trips through this organization. After graduating from Atlanta Christian College, Jason entered into full time vocational ministry with Casas por Cristo.
Eastridge's missions ministry not only supports this organization on a regular basis, but also has had the opportunity to go on four student mission trips in the past 3 years and one adult trip last year and a trip planned for June 2006.
