Celebrate Recovery Service Opportunities:
Service is a vital part of our recovery. In fact it’s one of the four keys of a successful recovery program for participants. At Celebrate Recovery, we encourage service and have opportunities for everyone to get involved, especially the newcomer. Find a place and get plugged in! Remember, “You can’t keep it if you don’t give it away.”
Solid Rock Cafe' ~ Service is as easy as signing up to help cut up and set out the desserts on Thursday nights! It could mean preparing desserts or arranging a fruit or vegetable tray when you get here before the large group.
Information Table - Are you good with organization? ~ Sign up for set-up and break down of the Resource Table.
Celebrate Kids ~ Many of you are gifted at working with kids. We have a great group ages 2-12 years, who love to have fun and learn. Come join us for an exciting time during “How to Be With Your Attitude” for elementary school ages or with the toddlers at Celebrate Recovery.
Set up and Signs Team - Do you like to serve behind the scenes? ~ We always need help setting up before and putting things back.
Greeters ~ Do you love to meet new people? We have greeters every Thursday night to welcome everyone and pass out bulletins! This is a special opportunity if you are new to CR and would like to start giving back!!
Ushers ~ This is another great opportunity if you are new to CR and looking to get involved! Our ushers assist with seating, collecting the offering, give general directions, communion preparation and much more.
BBQ/Cookout Team ~ Do you have any cooking gift or aspirations? We have servers, cookers, and clean-up opportunities.
Prayer Team ~ Prayer is an important part of our recovery. We invite you join us in prayer each week at 6:40pm in room W104.
Praise Team ~ Many of you are gifted with singing, playing instruments, multimedia or sound and lighting. If so, sign up to try out with the praise band.
Small Group Leaders ~ At CR we add new groups as needs arise and leadership is available. If you’ve worked through the 12-steps and been at Celebrate Recovery for at least 1 year we would love to have you on board the team.
