· What does “Go
Imagine that you have 2 colors… RED and YELLOW.
When you take the color of family (RED, representing the heart) and the color of the church (YELLOW, representing the light of Christ) and combine them, you get a more vibrant color…
We believe that when the church and the family combine influences, together they will have a greater impact on the next generation. At our “Go Orange!” summer event, we will be providing a new way for families and the church to partner together.

(7:00 p.m.-8:45 p.m.)
· Why in the evenings?
So that parents and their kids can attend two KidStuf services together. This will be a family event so moms, dads, caregivers & kids can have a shared experience.

Worship, Bible Drama, Games and Crafts. (Kids entering K-5th grade only)
Tuesday - July 22 Traditional VBS
Worship, Bible Drama, Games and Crafts. (Kids entering K-5th grade only)

KidStuf service for families
· On July 21 & 22, childcare will only be available for our “Go
** Parents do not have to attend on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Just bring your K-5th grader to the front of the church for check in. We will do the rest!
· Why did Eastridge decide to do a family event in the summer?
It has always been our desire in Children’s Ministry to develop a partnership between home and church and be more effective in impacting the heart of a child for Christ. We want the “Go Orange!” experience to empower parents to lead their kids’ spiritual growth and provide resources to do so.
· What is a “KidStuf” service?
It is an upbeat environment where learning about faith and character is fun and relevant! The shared experience will enable families to continue to communicate, teach and lead throughout the week. That’s how the color “
· What can I expect?
During KidStuf, families worship together through various forms of media such as drama, music and video… forms that today’s families understand. Also, The “WORD” segment focuses on the Bible for a specific application from the virtue being taught.
· What will be taught?
The kids will learn about the virtue of service. Service-lending a hand to help someone else.
They will learn that in order to do this, they need to … Love God, Love People and Serve Others
· Who can come to KidStuf?
The KidStuf service is specifically designed for kids and their parents. However, we aren’t exclusive! You are welcome to join us even if you don’t fit into one of those categories!
· What about summer
All of our summer camps will be in June. Since we have moved our “Go Orange!” program to July, our middle and high school students will be available to volunteer and have fun too!
· What about my younger kids?
KidStuf is specifically written for elementary age children and their parents. Families who would like to bring their preschoolers (3 yrs. to Pre-K) may do so as long as the younger children sit with their parents. Our elementary kids, however, will have reserved seating on the floor in front of the stage!
· Can child(ren) come to KidStuf without a parent or caregiver?
KidStuf is designed as a shared experience for families, so parents are encouraged to attend on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
· How can I register my child or volunteer for this event?
If your child is entering K-5th grade this Fall, please fill out a registration form. They will be available in E-town, the church office or online at eastridgefamily.org. You only need to register your child if they will be attending traditional VBS on Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22.
