Needs Ministry
NEEDS MINISTRY
The Needs Ministry is designed to serve people within the church by providing a network for items and/or services to be donated or received. This minstry allows the entire congregation to participate in a system that would support each other’s needs.
The Needs Ministry operates on two levels:
Level 1 provides a database of items available for free or at minimal cost. The website allows an individual to list a need or donate an item. Bartered items may include monetary cost, service oriented cost, or agreement to contribute an item to the system. Special consideration is given to persons who may have no resources to contribute to the ministry.
Level 2 provides a resource for people to donate automobiles or sell them at minimal cost. Compensation for automobiles may include monetary payments, service oriented cost, a contribution to the ministry of items, or a need-based donation. The recipient will have to provide proof of insurance policy on the vehicle to the church before being awarded the automobile. Special consideration would be given to persons that had no resources to contribute to the ministry.
DONORS SHOULD ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORTATION FOR THEIR ITEMS.
