I grew up in Newton County. I received Christ at the age of 17 and also felt called to ministry. I ran from God for 12 years living a very destructive lifestyle until my marriage to Renee fell apart. It was during a 6 month separation that I rededicated my to Jesus and He put our marriage back together. However it would be another ten years before I would surrender to the Lord’s calling on my life. In 2001 Renee and I start Celebrate Recovery here at Eastridge, the first of its kind in the state of Georgia. We are passionate about the hope and life change that’s found only in Jesus Christ. Our first responsibility is to our family. We have a beautiful daughter, Hayley, and three grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler, and Charleigh Rose. Grandchildren are just that, Grand! We love spending time with our family. I enjoy collecting antique straight razors and Renee and I both love antiquing. We’ve found a new hobby lately and that’s building tables and other furnishings out of recycled, rustic, reclaimed wood and lumber.
Favorite music: I’m a rocker. Is there another band besides Led Zeppelin! Really I like many different types of music including DCTalk, David Crowder, For King and Country as well as many others
Favorite movies: Pirates of the Caribbean, Mission Impossible, Home Run the Movie (watch it and you’ll understand why), Tombstone, A Christmas Story

Favorite scripture (or one that speaks to your life) and why: Do you have a website or blog? Isaiah 1:18-19 this is our families verse because it tells us God is willing nad does fight for us and desires His very best. - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 & Romans 8:28 Jesus is the only one I know that takes the most awful things in life and turns them into good; He alone takes the greatest mess and creates the greatest ministers.
